Finishes
Prefinished — Product features a specially formulated UV cured aluminum oxide finish that allows the wood's natural beauty to shine through and may be sanded and refinished.
Unfinished — Ipe's unusual chemical makeup contains alkalines that
can react adversely to oil based finishing products, resulting in extensive
drying times. As a result, use only water based finishes, and thoroughly
test all finishing products on sample strips before applying to site floor.
Usage
Ipe's superior hardness is perfect for commercial or residential applications,
including high traffic areas.
