Jatoba's natural reddish brown color and superior hardness has made it a favorite for all applications. Featuring distinctive and varied grain patterns, coupled with a litany of colorful hues, Jatoba matures to a beautiful, rich mosaic.
Color Change
A photosensitive wood, Jatoba's original color darkens to a deep red with exposure to light. Color stabilizes approximately three months after installation.

Finishes
Prefinished — Product features a specially formulated UV cured aluminum oxide finish that allows the wood's natural beauty to shine through and may be sanded and refinished.
Unfinished — Jatoba accepts oil or water based finishing products.
UV inhibitors will slow darkening process. Thoroughly test all finishing
products on sample strips before applying to site floor.
Usage
Jatoba's superior hardness is perfect for commercial or residential applications,
including high traffic areas.
